The CCUA regional meetings are getting ‘better and better’ states Lovetts Managing Director, Charles Wilson
“I have been attending CCUA regional meetings (London & South East) for many years now, and quite frankly, they are getting better and better. To me, it is an extremely valuable briefing meeting, yet it also provides a chance before and after the meeting to talk to fellow credit professionals.
Ably-chaired by Tony Whitman of BDO, we cover in less than 1½ hours a wide spectrum of legal topics and court life. We get technical updates on legal matters, CCUA national initiatives and news, and one or two relevant and interesting presentations from experts in their field. Of particular interest to me has been the involvement of senior court managers in our meetings from the region in the past few years. They give performance accountability and take questions and queries from court users. This is what we’re about! It is a balanced and well-prepared meeting, just what a professional organisation should be. My thanks to our national and regional team who work so hard to help us.”
