We are delighted to announce that our upcoming 2016 CCUA Conference will be held at The Stratford Manor Hotel on Tuesday the 18th October. As 2016 marks the 400th Anniversary of William Shakespeare, we will embrace the theme and for the 2nd year running, hold the event in the historic and charming setting of Stratford-Upon-Avon.
The event will feature District Judge C. Lethem, with highlights including 'The County Court after the Briggs Report’ with District Judge Christopher Lethem himself.
Including three interactive workshops:
1. Unification of enforcement- a reality or a dream?
2. The impact of Reform within the Civil jurisdiction
3. Internet and ID Fraud within litigation- types, extent and preventative solutions
The Jeremy Chaplin Memorial Award
The announcement of the 1st winner of this Award –with Lord David Hacking, President of the Civil Court Users Association presenting the Award supported by Brian Havercroft, Honorary Vice President.
There will be a message from the President - Lord David Hacking, an update on the CCUA achievements during 2016 with Robert Thompson - Vice Chair CCUA and much, much more throughout the day.
