The CCUA acts as a focal point for communication between its members, the Ministry of Justice (MoJ) and Her Majesty’s Courts & Tribunals Service (HMCTS).
Regional meetings across the country (North, Central, Greater London & South East and South West), frequently attended by senior local officers from HMCTS and allow members to share experiences and feedback concerns to HMCTS central office. Because the CCUA's National Council liaises closely with HMCTS, we are able to convey the concerns that may arise from regional meetings to HMCTS, where it matters.
Every year we host the CCUA Annual Conference, which provides an impressive forum for debate and evaluation. This event provides all our members with the unique opportunity to network directly with senior MoJ and HMCTS Officials. The Conference is traditionally attended by high profile speakers.
House of Lords Dinner
A highlight in the CCUA event calendar is the House of Lords Dinner. This is an exceptional occasion, hosted by two Peers of the Realm and gives members the unique opportunity of being invited to a special dinner engagement at the House of Lords, when normally a senior member of Government or of the Judiciary will be the guest speaker.
